We’re excited to welcome Rachel Barr as JCA Law’s newest Of Counsel attorney. ⚖️

Rachel focuses her practice on general business law, contracts, and federal procurement law, including FAR and DFARS compliance. She brings extensive public and private sector experience, including prior work as in-house counsel for a major defense contractor, where she supported complex procurement matters and large scale business transactions.

A graduate of St. Mary’s University School of Law, Rachel began her legal career serving eight years as a paralegal in the U.S. Air Force JAG Corps and has since built a diverse practice spanning business, aviation, insurance, and regulatory matters.

We’re pleased to welcome Albert Long as JCA Law’s newest Of Counsel attorney. ⚖️

Based in Laredo, Albert represents individuals, businesses, and public entities in civil and commercial disputes. His practice also includes criminal defense, family law, probate, and appellate matters.

A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and St. Mary’s University School of Law, Albert is admitted to practice in Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

As the first attorney in his family, Albert was drawn to the legal profession by a desire to serve his community a commitment that aligns strongly with JCA Law’s mission.
