Some things are built to last, and thanks to Nolan, this bridge is one of them! 🌲💚

Recently, Nolan returned to Lions Bear Lake Camp to put the finishing touch on his Eagle Scout project by proudly placing his plaque on the bridge he built along one of our trails.

What was once a much-needed improvement has become a permanent part of camp, helping hikers, runners, and visitors safely enjoy our trails, including those participating in the annual Bear Lake Camp Ultra Marathon.

That plaque may be small, but the work and dedication behind it are anything but. Years from now, people will still be crossing that bridge, many never knowing the time, effort, and care one young man put into making it possible.

Nolan, thank you for choosing Lions Bear Lake Camp for your Eagle Scout project. You didn't just build a bridge. You left your mark on a place that means so much to so many people.

And now, your name will forever be part of its story. ❤️

🎉💙 Happy Birthday, Nurse Linda! 💙🎉

Today we get to celebrate someone who has taken care of a whole lot of campers and staff over the years!

Whether she is handing out medications, patching up scrapes, checking on someone who just “doesn’t feel right,” or somehow staying calm when the rest of us are definitely not calm, Nurse Linda is always there when we need her.

Linda, thank you for the care, patience, laughs, and countless hours you give to Bear Lake Camp. We are incredibly lucky to have you as part of our camp family.

We hope your birthday includes absolutely NO trips to the Health Center, NO mystery rashes, and NO one asking, “Nurse Linda, can you look at this?” 😂

🎉💙 Happy Birthday, Deb! 💙🎉

Today we are celebrating one of those special people who shows up every summer ready to jump in wherever she is needed.

Deb spends her time at Bear Lake Camp helping in the kitchen, working alongside Nurse Linda, and even helping with overnight medical coverage. From long days to late nights, she gives her time simply because she cares about our campers and our camp.

Volunteers like Deb are a huge part of what makes Bear Lake Camp work. She comes back year after year, rolls up her sleeves, and becomes part of the craziness right along with the rest of us. 😂

Deb, thank you for every meal you have helped prepare, every camper you have helped care for, every late night, and every summer you choose to spend with us.

We are so lucky to have you as part of our Bear Lake Camp family. Happy Birthday, Deb! We hope today someone else takes care of YOU for a change! 🎂💙
