JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primary Skill Requirement: XNG (Granite), backhaul and fronthaul, equipment experience

Responsible for creation of circuit paths in the Southwest Region. Will take designs of interconnect engineers and create those paths and equipment in Granite (XNG). Also will work on ensuring Granite reporting metrics are being met and correcting items that are failing on the reports. Must have strong knowledge of creating circuits in Granite and be familiar with ancillary network equipment for both backhaul and fronthaul. Must be proficient in pulling reports out of Granite and have experience going into ancillary equipment (DAC, MUX, etc.) to verify data in design templates. Must be able to take the design from engineers and utilize prebuilt templates for circuit creation and be able to quickly build paths to support that design in Granite. Must be able to work independently to communicate with other departments on correcting data in Granite that is causing issues with reporting. Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Visio, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Scope of Work:
Able to organize information, manipulate data, prepare basic reports and perform administrative work under general supervision.

Will perform on-call duties, night shift rotations, and support weekend work and special events when situations demand.
