This one is for the military kids. 💛🇺🇸
When someone raises their right hand and chooses to serve, their family becomes part of that journey too.
My daughters didn’t enlist — I did. But they’ve experienced the early mornings, long days, training, time apart, moves, new schools, changing routines, and all the moments when the Army needed Mom somewhere else.
They’ve also been there for the promotions, accomplishments, homecomings, new adventures, and every reminder of why I keep going.
Being a Soldier and being a mom aren’t two separate parts of my life. My girls have grown up right alongside my Army career, and so much of what I’ve accomplished has happened with them beside me.
Military kids are resilient, adaptable, supportive, and sometimes asked to handle changes they never chose for themselves. They deserve recognition for that too. 🫶🏽
So today, this post isn’t about recruiting.
It’s just for the kids who serve in their own way because someone they love wears the uniform.
Especially my two. 💛
