CAD Drafting Tech.
Generates shop drawings using the AutoCAD system. Is Proficient in the use of AutoCAD . Creates and maintains smart libraries, symbols, templates, and maintains accurate and error free drawings, material take offs and client /supplier coordination. Is responsible for checking own work, work of the team, and ensuring the accuracy of the work. Produces drawings to include plans, elevations, details, embeds, layouts, tag, parts, take-offs, 3D, dies and other specifications related to the drawings. Travel out as a contract employee providing drafting services to clients. Technician complies with company policies regarding system design, CAD and drafting standards.
