Our Kingsport office is seeking quality candidates for two premier manufacturing roles in Surgoinsville, TN. Whether you are an experienced Slitter Operator or looking to grow as a Press Assistant, we have 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities available immediately. These are temp-to-hire opportunities!

Available Roles & Responsibilities

1. Slitter Operator

Shift: 2nd Shift (2:55 PM – 10:55 PM)
Operate high-performance slitting machines to cut materials to exact specifications.
Perform quality checks to ensure precision cuts and maintain a sharp production schedule.
Troubleshoot minor machine issues and maintain a clean, safe work area.

2. Press Assistant

Shifts: * 2nd Shift: 2:55 PM – 10:55 PM
3rd Shift: 10:55 PM – 6:55 AM
Support press operators with the setup, loading, and unloading of materials.
Monitor operations for quality, identifying any defects or inconsistencies.
Supply materials, remove finished products, and complete production logs.
Assist with changeovers and basic preventative maintenance tasks.
Requirements

Experience: At least 2 years of slitter or machine operation experience required for the Operator role. At least 1 year of machine operator experience required for the Assistant role.
Physical: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
Gear: Steel-toed boots are required.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a safety-focused mindset.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS & PAY

1st Shift: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM * Pay: $16.00 – $18.00/hour (Based on experience)

2nd Shift: Monday – Friday | 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM * Pay: $17.00 – $19.00/hour (Based on experience)

Please Note: Overtime, including Saturdays and/or Sundays, is required during peak production periods. This is a great opportunity for those looking to maximize their earnings.

THE ROLE:

You aren’t just an "assembler"—you are a builder. You will use your construction expertise to:

- Build and assemble components using professional framing techniques.
- Safely operate pneumatic staple and nail guns.

QUALIFICATIONS:

We are looking for hardworking individuals who are ready to hit the ground running.

- Experience: Minimum 1 year of Framing, Building or Construction experience (Required).
- Tool Skills: Mastery of tape measures and pneumatic power tools.
- Blueprint Reading: A strong plus!
- Reliability: A "safety-first" attitude and a proven track record of showing up on time.

AccuForce has several immediate Extrusion Operator Coiler positions in Greeneville, TN!

Perform tasks involved in the extrusion and manufacturing of polyethylene pipe including
coiling, taping, stacking, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Install pre-cut gaskets onto vacuum and spray tanks
- Verify coiler arm diameter (28–60 inches)
- Coil, tape, plug, and inspect pipe
- Stack pipe neatly and report defects
- Maintain cleanliness and return supplies
- Participate in shift change communication
- High level attention to quality, safety and housekeeping
- Follow all safety rules including PPE
- Standing for long periods and heavy lifting required

HS Diploma / GED and stable work history required

Shifts & Pay:

- Day Shift 8:00 am to 8:00 pm / Rotating Shift / $16.00 per hour
- Night Shift 8:00 pm to 8:00 am / Rotating Shift / $17.25 per hour
- Work 14 days per month
- Must be able to work every other weekend
