🇺🇸 WE WILL NEVER FORGET — SEPTEMBER 11, 2001
I was just a kid in elementary school when I watched the events of September 11th unfold. I was too young to fully understand what I was witnessing, but I knew our country had changed forever.
I remember the fear, the bravery of the first responders, and the way Americans came together afterward. Those memories stayed with me.
Ten years later, in 2011, I raised my right hand and chose to serve.
That decision began a military journey that would take me from serving as a United States Marine to serving in the United States Army. Different uniforms and different chapters, but the same commitment to serve something bigger than myself.
Twenty-five years later, I still think about that elementary school kid watching it all unfold—and how much that day shaped the person I would become.
Today isn’t about recruiting or the uniform I wear.
Today is about remembering.
Remembering the lives lost.
Remembering the heroes who ran toward danger.
Remembering the families forever changed.
Remembering those who answered the call to serve afterward.
25 years later, we still remember. 🇺🇸
September 11, 2001. Never Forgotten.
