Kelly Services is hiring a Material Handler for an awesome manufacturer in Farmington, CT!!

With the use of a forklift or other material handling devices, you'd manage the material flow from receiving to inventory to WIP and to shipping. Maintaining inventory accuracy, organization, levels and neatness would be your responsibility as well.
Duties:
• Operate a forklift
• Pull parts for assembly production orders
• Deliver selected parts to work centers
• Responsible for counting all parts that go in and out of stock
• Record stock transactions on the computer system, and receive purchase orders
• Work closely with production planner
• Fill transport carts and deliver to work centers
• Trigger orders with Kanban and transport carts
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Be capable to stand continuously, lift and bend
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds without aid

Experience: The individual must be able to follow instructions and procedures, and yet must have the ability to recognize potential problems and prevent or handle them efficiently and effectively. Must have basic PC knowledge. Knowledge of SAP and Kaizen helpful

Salary: $16-$19.00/hourly
Duration: 6 months to 1-year contract
Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday thru Friday (6:00am-4:30pm overtime hours)

Kelly Services is recruiting for several temp to hire openings for assembly/production workers at a leading assembly, fulfillment, and logistics company located in Morrisville, Vermont.

RESPONSIBILITIES: You will assemble various types of workout equipment, such as indoor rowing machines, stationary bicycles, and Nordic skiing machines. No experience is required; training will be provided.

SHIFTS: 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift, Monday - Friday (no weekends!)

PAY: $14.00 per hour for 1st shift; $15.00 per hour for 2nd shift; $15.50/hour for 3rd shift. These are temp-to-hire positions with great benefits upon hire for the right candidate with great production and attendance.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time on concrete floors.
Steel toe / safety shoes are required.

2nd shift: $13.55/hr, up to $16.88/hr a year after hire. Schedule Monday - Friday 3pm - 11pm, 1-2 Saturdays per month with 2 week training period on 1st shift.

Responsibilities for the Full Zone Machine Operator include:
• Quality awareness of raw materials during molding
• Checking all tooling at the start of the shift for damaged or missing taped out molds
• Performing all functions of parts manufacturing within the department; molding, finishing, and packaging
• Operating all equipment within the department, including molding presses, trimmers, post cure ovens, and springing machines
• Material handling of components, finished parts, and supplies
• Packaging parts to conform to company and customer specifications
• Inspecting the parts being produced using approved methods
• Informing the Group Leader of dirty molds and other production problems
• Maintaining all paperwork and production charts as necessary
• Keeping all work areas clean, neat, and safe
• Using computer equipment for documentation

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not essential
• Must be able to operate machinery, inspect, and package products
• Must be capable of lifting boxes of components and finished products up to 50 pounds
