Kansas City is proactively working to strengthen its workforce by inviting impacted Federal workers to an information and resource fair on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 3-6 p.m. at the 2400 Lobby of Bartle Hall (1500 Central). Parking is free.

Due to the success of this event, we are pleased to announce that we will be hosting another fair on May 8, 2025, from 3-6 p.m. at the same location.

Kansas City recognizes the invaluable experience public service employees bring to their roles. Whether in Federal government or other parts of the public sector, public service provides the skills, insight, and dedication that drive strong municipal services. Kansas City is proud to recruit this talent and provide opportunities across a range of departments.

Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from various City departments, including Aviation, Water Services, Health, Public Works, Neighborhood Services, Civil Rights and Equal Opportunity (NEO), KCPD, Housing, Parks & Recreation, Human Resources, City Communications and Finance. These departments offer a wide range of positions, from entry-level roles to mid-level, skilled labor, management, and much more.
