Kevin McManus Law was honored to serve as a Beverage Cart Sponsor for the 2026 Clay County Sheriff's Office Charitable Golf Tournament benefiting the CCSO HALO Team.

Paralegals Jo and Mandy represented the firm at this year's event, joining community members, volunteers, and local businesses in support of an organization that helps Sheriff's Office employees facing financial hardship.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, the tournament raised an incredible $15,721 to help provide assistance with essential expenses such as housing, utilities, medical bills, groceries, vehicle repairs, and more.

We are grateful for the opportunity to support the dedicated men and women of the Clay County Sheriff's Office and organizations like the HALO Team that make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Beatriz brings decades of experience in personal injury law and a deep passion for helping people through some of the most difficult moments in their lives. From serving as Counsel in the U.S. Senate to leading her own law firm, her career has always been centered around advocacy, compassion, and justice.

At Kevin McManus Law, service is at the core of who we are — both for our clients and for our community.

Last Friday afternoon, our team closed the office early to volunteer with the Kansas City chapter of the Veterans Community Project. We spent time in the Commissary helping organize donations, prepare food boxes and snack bags, stock supplies, and support veterans in our community.

As part of our quarterly charitable giving efforts, the firm also made a $2,000 donation to support the organization’s mission and the incredible work they do to help veterans through housing, support services, and community resources.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back to those who have served our country and proud to support organizations making a meaningful impact in Kansas City.
