District Council 3 Painters and Allied Trades Training Fund International Union of Painters and Allied Trades registered Apprenticeship and Safety Training. Highly-Trained Workers Are Always In Demand.

The Painters and Allied Trades District Council 3 Joint Apprenticeship & Training Center is a partnership between District Council 3 and the contractors that employ members of the our Union. Our Apprenticeship Program is a high quality, work-based training for those who want to advance in a satisfying and rewarding career in the Finishing Trades. You will be a part of a high skilled training program preparing you for a future in the skilled Building Trades. Highly-Skilled Workers Command Higher Pay And Better Benefits Than Unskilled Workers. Highly-Skilled Workers Are Safer On The Job And Have Fewer Job-Related Accidents Than Do Unskilled Workers. Trained Workers Also Help Our Contractors, Who Can Finish Projects Faster, Better, And More Safely With Our Skilled Trades Men And Women. 👏👏Congratulations to two of our DC3 members, Justin Santhuff, Glazier Organizer, and John Ellis, Drywall Finisher & Part-Time Instructor, on completing their IUPAT Peer Support Training at International Union of Painters and Allied Trades training center.

This training gives them more tools to support our members when they may be dealing with mental health, substance use, or other challenges. More importantly, they’re now part of the IUPAT Helping Hand network of Peer Supporters.

Proud of you both for stepping up and being there for your brothers and sisters. This is what taking care of our own looks like. 👊
