A question I’ve gotten a lot lately is -

What types of people can you help with their job search?

Answer - anyone! With making the move to start this venture on my own, gives me the freedom and flexibility to help any candidate with their career search and any company find top talent.

Throughout my career, I have recruited positions from part-time high volume roles to full-time permanent very specialized positions. Over the past 4 1/2 years I’ve become more specialized within finance, accounting, human resources and payroll positions but now I do have that flexibility to work outside of those specialties.

As always, there is fine print. Over the next year I do have a noncompete so I will be working with clients and candidates that are outside of this immediate area. August 2027, though I’ll be back and have more flexibility.

Todd and I have discussed a lot this year the need for our schedules to be flexible to support the kids journey - sports to education to leadership not to mention time with their friends.

Fast forward to June 2026, I turned 40. Fast forward to July 2026, the opportunity of a lifetime presented itself. Fast forward to August 2026, I quit my 6 figure corporate salary to start KL Talent.

Call me crazy or maybe I’m having a mid life crisis, but let me tell you the past 3 weeks of flexibility and building my company based on what’s important to me…. Trust, transparency and authenticity….

This journey has been everything I hoped for and more. Thank you to my husband for the support he has shown me through the start of this journey. Yes, this is a journey and for once I’m embracing the journey and not just rushing to see the final product.
