This month our AMS CARES Program is still celebrating the sponsorship of Project Access-East Tennessee!💙 This June marks the beginning of AMPA’s 20th year of service. Every referral represents someone walking through a hard moment, and every connection is a reminder of what this community makes possible when people come together to care for one another. They are grateful to be part of a community that continues to show up in meaningful ways, and we are so blessed to have them a part of it!

The first non-profit we're celebrating this year for AMS-CARES is Project Access-East Tennessee! Appalachian Mountain Project Access (AMPA) connects uninsured and low-income individuals across NETN and SWVA to the healthcare they need but cannot afford. We're so thankful to have them in our community, let's show them some support!

Yesterday we celebrated 12 amazing organizations, and showed them how much the work they do in our community means to us. They were all chosen because they're special to our team, so we want to roll out the red carpet for the non-profits our team chose to sponsor this year: Project Access-East Tennessee, Visit Johnson City, Washington County, TN Animal Shelter, Brother's Keeper, The River, Isaiah 117 House Washington County TN, Children's Advocacy Center of the 1st Judicial District, The Magnolia Project, The Warrior's Canvas & Veterans Art Center, Ronald McDonald House Southern Appalachian, Jeremiah School, and 4thirteen 💙

Today was a celebration of our 3rd annual AMS - CARES Program round of donations! It stands for the Community Assistance Reaching Everyone Sponsor Program, and it starts with our employees voting on 12 non-profits they want us to sponsor through the year. The non-profits chosen are then provided a $1,000 sponsorship to help them serve the Tri-Cities area. In addition, we place the 12 organizations’ logo on the back of our uniform shirts, at no cost to them, so that our clients will be able to see who we’re supporting in the community and give the non-profits a larger platform.
We wanted to create a program for our community that makes an impact, not only for our clients and employees, but that will hopefully inspire others to give and expand the organizations’ impact locally.
