Each minute of every day, we are presented with a choice on how we spend our moments. We can either miss the moments or grasp them. This photo was taken at a time in my life when I was missing the moments and in doing so, I was missing more than life.

This Friday we'll be leaving the building at 6:00 to go to the Frist Center. We'll eat outside their building from 6:30-7:00 (bring your own supper) and then we'll see Connecting Cultures, their exhibit of foreign children's stories illustrated by painters.

We'll leave the building at 6:15 if you want to ride the van. You'll want to bring your own fishing equipment. We're also asking parents to chip in $10 to help offset the cost of the fireworks. For supper you can eat a hot dog or hamburger straight off the grill!
