Helping People Succeed Thank you for being a friend to Helping People Succeed! We create opportunities to partner through volunteering, collaborating and philanthropy.

Your support drives our mission: To empower individuals of all ages and abilities - and their families – through comprehensive intervention and disability services promoting growth and belonging. We help people succeed through quality services by developing, expanding and providing high-quality, accessible, personal development services that lead to healthy, productive and independent lives. We help people succeed through community engagement by increasing community awareness of the services we provide and the critical needs of those we serve. We help people succeed by improving stability of support for our mission, and dedicated staff, by searching for and securing diverse and sufficient public and private revenue streams, and managing the resources in productive, innovative and accountable ways. We help people succeed by cultivating relationships within and outside of the organization that enable us to accomplish our mission more effectively and to expand the culture of support for those we serve.

Two Pianos. Two Performers. One Unforgettable Evening.

We're shaking things up at the 12th Annual Pinot & Picasso with a little friendly competition! This year, we're introducing dueling pianos as part of the evening's live entertainment.

Joining us are Jason Pawlak and Randy Keith of Premier Piano Shows, bringing decades of combined experience from venues including Disney's Jellyrolls and Howl at the Moon. Get ready for familiar favorites, audience requests, and a little musical back-and-forth!

Every Masterpiece Begins with Possibility.

Our Adult Day Training participants LOVE to give back to the community.

In the 2025-2026 fiscal year, they contributed 3,008 hours of volunteer services across the Treasure Coast!

We love our partnerships with Ocean Dream, keeping parks and beaches clean, Treasure Coast Food Bank, and House of Hope to name just a few.

When you see them out and about, say hi! Give them a high five, they love belonging to this community!

Every masterpiece begins with possibility.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available for Helping People Succeed’s 12th Annual Pinot & Picasso, happening Saturday, November 21, at Willoughby Golf Club.

This year’s event will feature something truly unique: five local artists paired with five Helping People Succeed participants, working together to create original masterpieces in a variety of artistic mediums. These one-of-a-kind pieces will take center stage during our live auction.

The evening will also come alive with Dueling Pianos, great company, and plenty of entertainment, all while raising critical funds to support the individuals and families we serve across the Treasure Coast.

Did You Know...?

Your property tax dollars are helping children succeed and families thrive right here on the Treasure Coast.

Through the Children’s Services Councils of Martin, St. Lucie and Okeechobee Counties, local investments provide 37% of Helping People Succeed’s revenue and help make critical services for children and families possible.

Behind that number are real moments of impact, a new mom gaining confidence, a child learning to communicate, a parent finding support, and a young person discovering friendship and belonging.

From developmental screenings, early intervention and prevention to youth programming, this funding helps us identify needs early, strengthen families, and support children as they grow.

To our local Children’s Services Councils and Treasure Coast taxpayers: thank you for investing in stronger children, stronger families, and a stronger community.

A $1,000 gift is helping local children learn, connect, and thrive!

Yesterday, Cheree represented Helping People Succeed at the Port St. Lucie Business Women luncheon and proudly accepted a generous donation in support of our Music & Playgroups.

Through music, dance, art, games, and rhymes, these groups promote healthy development, encourage social interaction, and strengthen parent-child bonds. This gift will help us continue creating meaningful experiences for children and families throughout St. Lucie County.

We are grateful to the Port St. Lucie Business Women for investing in our community and helping families thrive.

Since 1980, the Port St. Lucie Business Women have awarded tens of thousands of dollars in grants and scholarships to local organizations and women.

Thank you for helping us make a lasting difference for Helping People Succeed and so many other impactful community partners!

Why I Serve with Tom Campenni

For more than a decade, Tom Campenni has been a champion for Helping People Succeed. As our current Board Chair, advocate, and longtime donor, Tom has seen firsthand the impact our programs have on individuals and families across the Treasure Coast.
