Deburr II/Finisher position details:
***Direct Hire with Benefits***
***Pay Rate: $17/hour***
SHIFT AVAILABLE:
o 1st shift: Monday-Friday (6:30am – 3:00pm)
o 2nd shift: Monday-Friday (2:30pm – 12:00am)
(possible mandatory overtime)
Work Environment: This position sets up and operates automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Follows engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process. Installs, modifies, moves, troubleshoots, repairs and dismantles machinery and equipment according to requisition established documentation (e.g., SOPs), layout plans, blueprints or other drawings. Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
*Set-up and operate all equipment (i.e. Deburr Bench, various Grinders, etc.) in the Deburring area.
*Manufacture product to specifications and requirements.
*Maintain all records required by the Company.
*Learn the processes and equipment in the Deburr area.
*Polish and blend surfaces.
*Work with basic precision measuring instruments (including caliper, micrometer, drop indicator, etc.).
*Complete all paperwork as required including scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers and data, Follower Tags, ATP, Slitter Sheets, etc.
*Work with co-workers to ensure quality and production standards meet objectives.
*Perform related tasks as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
*High School Diploma or local equivalent (i.e. GED).
*Minimum of two (2) years performing deburr/finishing tasks.
*Solid understanding of geometry and trigonometry.
*Read basic blueprints.
*Maintain deburring equipment.
*Understand, follow and communicate verbal and written instructions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
*Sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
*Required to lift a minimum of 30 pounds. Lifting frequency: Occasionally
*Strong manual dexterity/steady hands.
*Ability to work with a microscope for an extended period of time
