We are a semi-hardcore unit that focuses on being well-trained, extremely organized, and strongly disciplined. A large number of our veteran (and still many new) players are of Czech and Slovak origin, and they have been joining us since the beginning of 2019. But to be clear, we are by no means a "Czech Unit," despite being two companies, one of which is CZ/EU/SK and the other company being NA/UK
. A long time ago a major goal of the 8th Florida was to create a fully operating CZ/SK company. This was not only possible, but it flourished to become the feared Company C. This company is exclusively for our CZ/SK soldiers. Together with Company A, the two companies form the 8th Florida Infantry, 1st Battalion. Company C is already established on the Company Tool. The most recent update to the Unit breakdown has been the recenr inclusion of the Moorman's (Lynchburg, Virginia) Artillery Battery. from their debut onwards they have shown no signs of showing down and are proving to be one of the best Artillery Crews. Company A has seen a recruiting surge with Company C over the past few months, and we are very happy with the numbers we brought with us into the new year - and they continue to stream in. We whip men who have never touched a musket into shape and make them look like Quigley (Down Under) when it comes to firing accurate volleys. It does not take long for we will have green new recruits looking like grizzled veterans out on the field of battle. Discord:
