Mess hall operations are scheduled around breakfast, lunch, and dinner meal periods. Your workday may consist of multiple 3–4 hour shifts with unpaid breaks between meal periods.

Because schedules are based on meal service and operational needs:

🔹 You must have OPEN AVAILABILITY
🔹 You must be available for the meal periods assigned to you
🔹 You must be available to work at least ONE weekend day each week
🔹 Your start and end times may vary based on the mess hall schedule
🔹 You may be assigned to a different mess hall from your usual location when needed
🔹 You must be able to report to whichever assigned location your manager directs you to

⚠️ If you are only available for one specific shift, cannot work weekends, or need a traditional continuous 8-hour schedule, this position may not fit your availability.

Reliable transportation is required. Your vehicle must be registered and insured in your name so you can report to assigned locations as scheduled.

Minimum 5 years of verifiable concrete finishing experience — REQUIRED

Must have your own professional concrete finishing tools
Must be dependable, safety-minded, and able to work as part of a construction crew

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM AN EXPERIENCED CONCRETE FINISHER

You should be confident performing concrete finishing work with minimal supervision, including:

Forming, placing, leveling, and finishing concrete
Operating hand and power finishing tools
Using screeds, floats, bull floats, edgers, groovers, trowels, and other finishing equipment
Checking grades, elevations, slopes, and proper concrete placement
Producing smooth, consistent, professional-quality finishes
Working with slabs, sidewalks, curbs, foundations, floors, and other concrete structures
Understanding proper timing for floating, edging, troweling, and finishing
Identifying and correcting finishing issues before concrete sets
Following project specifications, blueprints, and safety procedures
Working safely around heavy equipment and active construction sites
Working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
Maintaining and properly caring for your tools and equipment

Because some projects may be located on military installations, candidates must be able to successfully complete the required process for base access/badging.
