👷‍♂️ WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Your job is simple — but YOU are an important part of keeping the site organized and secure! 🔐

✅ Sit outside the construction site gate
✅ Log everyone entering and exiting the site
✅ Monitor who comes and goes
✅ Maintain accurate entry/exit records
✅ Stay alert and attentive throughout your shift
✅ Follow site procedures and instructions

🌙 SECOND SHIFT DETAILS

🕙 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
💰 $18.00/HR + $2.00 NIGHT SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL = $20.00/HR!

AtWork Jacksonville is looking for experienced Concrete Finishers for construction projects in Jacksonville and surrounding areas. If you have the skills, experience, and tools to produce quality concrete work, we want to talk with you!

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years of verifiable concrete finishing experience — REQUIRED
Valid driver’s license
Must have your own professional concrete finishing tools
Must be dependable, safety-minded, and able to work as part of a construction crew
Resume is REQUIRED
Must provide verifiable professional references
Must be able to meet the requirements necessary to obtain a badge for work on military/federal installations
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM AN EXPERIENCED CONCRETE FINISHER

You should be confident performing concrete finishing work with minimal supervision, including:

Forming, placing, leveling, and finishing concrete
Operating hand and power finishing tools
Using screeds, floats, bull floats, edgers, groovers, trowels, and other finishing equipment
Checking grades, elevations, slopes, and proper concrete placement
Producing smooth, consistent, professional-quality finishes
Working with slabs, sidewalks, curbs, foundations, floors, and other concrete structures
Understanding proper timing for floating, edging, troweling, and finishing
Identifying and correcting finishing issues before concrete sets
Following project specifications, blueprints, and safety procedures
Working safely around heavy equipment and active construction sites
Working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
Maintaining and properly caring for your tools and equipment
IMPORTANT

Because some projects may be located on military installations, candidates must be able to successfully complete the required process for base access/badging.

Resumes are required and must include relevant concrete finishing experience. Professional references will be verified.

Pay will be determined based on your experience, skill level, and interview.
