Quality Inspector Job Opening
Myco Plastics is currently interviewing for a 2nd shift Quality Inspector. Shift schedule is 3:50 PM - 12:10 AM
The pay is $14.00 per hour plus shift differential pay.
Experience preferred but we are willing to train the right person with a steady work history in a manufacturing setting.

Major Job Functions

1. Pull hourly samples (see routing ticket book)
2. Complete hourly inspections on all product as required
3. Complete Assembly inspections as required
4. Ensure correct packaging, assembly, materials …
5. Conduct hourly inspections of all assembly operations
6. Participate in effective and efficient running of shift
7. Communicate effectively with Shift Supervisors regarding any quality issues

JOB OPENING
2nd Shift Supervisor - $17.50 - $20.00 per hour plus shift differential pay.
Job Purpose: To manage the shift and all direct staff. To ensure the smooth running of the production process. To ensure that all products are produced to the specified specifications. Target and deadlines are met to achieve the orders. To ensure that all direct staff comply with all the company’s procedures and policies.
Work Experience/Training: Minimum 3 years working in a high mass volume manufacturing environment as a Shift Supervisor, Operator, Mold Tech, Floor Man, Process Tech, or within an equivalent capacity. Ideally from a plastics background.
Key Responsibilities
• To take full responsibility of the shift in terms of management of staff, management of production, quality targets and to ensure the smooth running of the production processes
• To ensure product that is produced within the shift is in line with Myco’s quality system, processes and procedures
• Manage, develop, and motivate production personnel
• To ensure good communication is given either verbally or written to all members of staff
• To work closely with other Shift Supervisors to ensure production handovers are effective
• To ensure that the training skills are met for current and future demands of the shift
• Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace
• Responsible for the care, custody, and proper operation of company’s equipment
• Be able to make appropriate decisions while following the company’s organizational structure
Specific Job Functions
• Ensure sufficient support exists for providing breaks
• Promptly answer and resolve alarm bells
• Record production quantities at end of shift
• Work with tooling personnel to ensure molds and fixtures are in good operating condition
• Know when to shut a machine down or when to ask for help
• Maintain proper material at each machine for continuous production
• Know quality standards for each customer
• Notify the quality department of any quality concerns
• Provide on-going training to all production personnel
• Build a harmonious team that works well together
• Display professional conduct, treat fellow employees with respect and maintain good morale of the shift

Maintenance Technician/1st Shift

Position reports in at least 15 minutes prior to the start of each shift, to obtain and/or impart information regarding machine and/or equipment operations and product related issues. The Maintenance ensures the operation of machinery by repairing and completing preventive maintenance requirements in injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. This position is also responsible for facility maintenance.

Qualifications

Great communication skills

Must have ability to work independently with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic disciplines

Must be able to read and interpret prints and diagrams
Strong welding skills are necessary

Ability to use a caliper & micrometer

Must be able to bend, stoop, use arms overhead, stand on cement up to 12 hours, lift, push or pull up to 100lbs

Pass forklift certification by Myco Plastics

Associate Degree: Industrial Maintenance
1-3 years experience preferred.
(All Myco Employees are responsible for following the Employee Handbook)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure safety procedures are always followed
Assists the Maintenance Manager in controlling downtime by effectively troubleshooting and diagnosing problems quickly and accurately
Maintains technical knowledge by continuous on the job training, reviewing technical publications, establishing personal networks, and attending educational workshops as assigned by Myco, Plastics, Inc
Technician will perform work on hydraulics/pneumatic/electrical/plumbing within the facility as directed by the Maintenance Manager
Demonstrate a strong knowledge of electrical schematics (Low-high voltage)
Responsible for use of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures on any machinery that is being repaired or troubleshooting for repairs
Make necessary repairs on any plumbing issues in the facility
Routine PM’s on all equipment including filters on all facility A/C unit

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for a participative effort in the morale of the shift. Any Human Relations issues should be communicated to management. Employee should act as a role model for all personnel upholding a positive attitude toward production and quality issues as well as any personality conflicts that may arise.
