Jackson Area Minority Mentor Nurses

Jackson Area Minority Mentor Nurses She called her first meeting in December, 1992 at Royal Reed in Jackson, Tn.

While a member of the Retired Nurses of Jackson, Corene Steele envisioned a diverse group of minority nurses coming together to serve the African-American community. Goals of Jackson Area Minority Mentor Nursing Association are the following:
JAMMN members will establish nurturing mentor relationships with local minority nursing students who volunteer for the program
Student nurses (mentees) wil

l demonstrate a high success rate in academics evidenced through successfully passing course work and State Board Examinations. JAMMN will make efforts to recruit potential minority nursing students as well as mentees to the mentoring program.
