Jeff Isabell attended the Annual Association of Supervisors State Convention, where he had the opportunity to promote Work for Warriors Mississippi and connect with supervisors and vendors from across the state. With all 82 counties represented and more than 160 vendors in the exposition hall, the convention provided valuable opportunities to share our mission and strengthen partnerships.

You never know where the next employment opportunity, referral, or partnership will come from. Events like these help us continue supporting Mississippi's service members, veterans, and military families while expanding our network of community partners.

Tammy Clinton recently completed a facility tour with Mr. Mark King, HR Manager at Sofidel America Corp. in Hattiesburg. As a global leader in tissue paper manufacturing, Sofidel is committed to improving everyday life through sustainable products, innovation, and investment in the communities it serves.

More than 1,800 people attended the Ingalls hiring event, creating incredible opportunities for job seekers across the Gulf Coast.

Michael McGee proudly represented Work for Warriors Mississippi on Memorial Day at the Jackie Dole Sherrill Community Center in Hattiesburg as the community gathered to honor and remember our nation’s fallen heroes.

Mayor Toby Barker addressed attendees and presented yellow roses to Gold Star Families in recognition of their sacrifice and service. During the ceremony, the son of a Vietnam War casualty who was killed in action received a replacement American flag after his original flag was lost in a house fire. Mayor Barker presented the flag in a moving tribute that served as a reminder that the legacy and sacrifice of our fallen service members will never be forgotten.

Today and every day, we remember and honor those who gave everything for our freedom.

Work for Warriors MS was honored to attend the Thrive & Connect: Military Spouse Resource Fair held at the C.E. Roy Community Center in Hattiesburg, MS.

This event was created to raise awareness for military spouses and highlight the many community resources available to support them. It was a great opportunity to connect, share information, and strengthen support for our military families.

A special thank you to Mrs. (SSG) Aiyana Johnson with Columbia Southern University for the extensive planning and effort that helped make this event a success.
