Next installment of Back to the Basics of Personality Type: The pair of opposite preferences known as Sensing (S) and Intuition (N) refers to how we prefer to take in information and which type of information we most trust.

Intuition (N): The focus is on information that comes through insight and intuition. About 25-35% of the U.S. population identifies with the preference of Intuition.

Typical Characteristics Include:
-May be concerned with what is possible and new and have an orientation for the future
-May recall events by their impressions rather than the facts or words surrounding the event
-May tend to enjoy activities where they can be creative or use symbols
-May tend to work from the “big picture” to the facts and details.
-May focus so much on new possibilities that they miss the practicalities of reality
