Salary Range: $73,000 β $78,000 Annually
Schedule: Monday β Friday | 7:00 AM β 4:00 PM

Position Summary
The Senior Logistics Manager oversees all aspects of the logistics function to efficiently and cost-effectively support company operations. This role ensures a safe work environment, manages department performance, and drives continuous improvement in shipping, receiving, and freight management processes.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Supervision:
Lead and supervise logistics staff, including timecard management and time-off approvals
Set clear performance expectations and conduct evaluations
Provide coaching, training, and development for team members
Ensure compliance with safety policies, GMP standards, and company procedures
Handle employee discipline in accordance with company policy
Lead departmental goal setting and performance reviews
Logistics & Freight Management
Oversee all inbound and outbound shipping operations
Schedule and manage LTL and full truckload shipments
Coordinate incoming shipments and daily tracking updates
Analyze freight expenses for cost efficiency and transit performance
Investigate shipping errors, damages, and delays; conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
File freight claims when necessary
Track and report on-time delivery performance
Manage Amazon and small parcel shipments, including invoicing and issue resolution
Coordinate and schedule trade show shipments
Utilize TMS portals and EDI systems to manage freight documentation
Operational Excellence
Verify accuracy of picked and packed freight orders
Assist with picking and packing when necessary
Reconcile staging bins and support cycle counts
Participate in year-end inventory
Develop and update standard operating procedures
Review weekly priority reports and communicate production/backorder updates
Lead the logistics budget process
Identify and communicate cost-saving opportunities
Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain workflow efficiency
Required Skills & Abilities:

Thorough understanding of warehouse and logistics procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
Education & Experience:
Bachelorβs degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Associate degree with significant logistics experience considered
Minimum five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment with logistics responsibility
Prior supervisory experience required
Valid forklift operator license preferred
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
Ability to move throughout warehouse environment
Work Environment:
Primarily warehouse-based
Exposure to noise, vibration, dust, mechanical equipment, and moving vehicles
May be exposed to varying temperatures
