Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Full Time – Temp to Permanent
Rotating Shifts
In this position, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance in a fast paced manufacturing/packaging environment. Mechanical Maintenance Technician must be able to follow instructions given by supervisor Must be able to follow directions and work with minimal supervision, conform to company standards of assembly methodology, and balance their workload with multiple priorities
o A minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
o Technical certification or equivalent training in a mechanical environment or energy related field is preferred.
o A minimum of 5+ years mechanical maintenance experience is required.
o Strong mechanical aptitude with advanced troubleshooting and maintenance skills is required.
o Experience in maintenance and repair of packaging equipment and associated components is required.
o Ability to read and understand, analyze and interpret documents, equipment repair manuals, reports and federal, state and local codes and regulations.
o The ability to perform mathematical calculations, such as, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical solutions is required.
o Prior SAP Experience is a plus
