Pursuing a truly productive path that inspires those around you?
A recent Fast Company article encourages leaders to do these three things.
-It is imperative for leaders to master the ability to switch gears quickly and laser-in on the discussion or task at hand. To get the most of your day, try carving out quiet time. Give yourself at least 30-minute blocks of uninterrupted focus. Silence your email, Slack, and iMessage notifications. Turn alerts off.
-Before attending a meeting, do your homework. Ensure that you have studied the prep materials and that you are prepared to contribute. If you find yourself zoning out in a meeting or trying to multitask, ask yourself if you should have even been in that meeting to begin with.
-When you’re interacting with your team, set the tone and lead with purpose.
