Prince’s legendary ‘Purple Rain’ is officially making its way to Broadway. The stage adaptation of the iconic 1984 film will premiere at the Majestic Theatre, with previews beginning March 12, 2027, ahead of its official opening on April 12. Featuring a refreshed creative team, the production will bring Prince’s timeless catalog to the stage, including classics like “When Doves Cry,” “I Would Die 4 U,” “Take Me With You,” and the anthemic title track, “Purple Rain.”
