Replacement Nylon Rollers:
Replacement Steel Rollers:
Replacement Spring Pulley:
This chain-drive garage door was squeaking and clattering at ~71 dB. I walk through a quick tune-up: lubricating hinges and rollers (not the tracks!), inspecting rollers for bearing play, and replacing a failed top pulley whose bearing was shot. I also show where to add white grease to the opener chain, plus cleanup tips to avoid drips on the floor.
After the service, noise dropped to ~64 dB. If your door still jerks or screams after l**e, check pulleys and rollers—one failing part can make the whole system loud.
⚠️ Safety first: disconnect power to the opener when hands are near moving parts, keep clear of the torsion spring system, and don’t grease the tracks—clean them instead.
