If your organization has an open seat in Revenue Cycle, Radiology, or Healthcare Finance β€” contact Nearterm today. The search begins on the first call.

Interim leaders placed in days. Finalist slates of 2 to 4 candidates screened on payer mix, EMR depth, and operational fit β€” not volume. And the fee does not exist until the right person accepts, starts, and is performing. Nearterm absorbs the risk. Not your organization.

Twenty years. Three specialties. Healthcare only. Reach out today and tell us what your organization needs.

If your Revenue Cycle department has an open seat right now β€” contact Gayle Tapps at Nearterm before that vacancy shows up in your monthly report.
Revenue Cycle turnover ranges from 15% to 40% depending on the role.

Replacing a single biller or coder costs between $10,000 and $30,000 when recruiting, onboarding, and the productivity gap are factored in. Every position on this chart is one Gayle Tapps fills, interim and permanent, with no fee until placement holds.

If your Revenue Cycle or Healthcare Finance leadership seat is open right now β€” reach out to Gayle Tapps at Nearterm before the gap shows up in your monthly report.

A vacant leadership seat in Revenue Cycle or Healthcare Finance does not stay quiet. AR days climb. Denials stack without a named owner. Teams absorb accountability they were not built to carry. Cash performance starts slipping before anyone puts a name to the cause.

Gayle Tapps has spent 20+ years filling Interim and Executive Search roles in Healthcare Finance and Revenue Cycle Leadership β€” placing leaders who are operational from day one, without the urgency pressure that forces a wrong permanent decision.

Interim A/R Management protects cash flow while the permanent search runs. Interim Remote Pre-Services covers pre-auth, eligibility, and financial clearance. Patient Access Leadership keeps registration and access teams moving without disruption. Permanent placement spans CFO, Revenue Cycle Director, Interim CFO, Revenue Cycle Operations Lead, Patient Access Director, and Access Oversight β€” among others.

Both interim and permanent searches run simultaneously. The department is never fully exposed and the right permanent hire is made at the pace the decision actually warrants. No placement, no fee. Contact Gayle Tapps at Nearterm today.

Healthcare organizations carry enough financial risk without their staffing partner adding to it. A retainer paid before a single candidate is presented. A fee invoiced the moment an offer is signed β€” regardless of whether the placement holds, performs, or stabilizes the department it was hired to protect. That structure is standard in this industry. It is also the reason so many placements get treated as closed the moment a candidate accepts, rather than the moment a department actually recovers.

Accountability in a search does not come from a contract. It comes from whether the firm collecting the fee has any reason to care what happens after the offer letter is signed. When payment is contingent on a placement that actually holds, every evaluation decision, every submission, and every candidate conversation is made differently β€” because the firm's outcome and the organization's outcome are the same thing.

Nearterm operates on one model across every search in Healthcare Finance, Revenue Cycle, and Radiology. No upfront commitment. No fee structure that separates recruiter success from department performance. The invoice comes when the right candidate is in seat and the work is done β€” not before.

If your organization is expanding RCM outsourcing without experienced Revenue Cycle leadership governing it β€” contact Gayle Tapps at Nearterm before the gap shows up in your numbers.

70% of hospitals and health systems are planning to expand RCM outsourcing. At the same time, 70% of healthcare executives cite operational efficiency as their top priority in 2026. Those two numbers belong in the same conversation β€” because outsourcing RCM processes does not reduce the need for internal Revenue Cycle leadership. It increases it.

Someone has to govern vendor SLAs, monitor performance metrics, and hold the outsourced team accountable when the numbers move. Nearshore outsourcing is driving the biggest growth as organizations look for high-touch, judgment-intensive RCM processes handled by experienced professionals at lower cost. That model works β€” when a strong RC leader is sitting internally, translating vendor performance into enterprise financial visibility.

The organizations that outsource successfully have experienced Revenue Cycle leadership in seat. The organizations that outsource poorly have a vacancy where that leadership should be. Contact Gayle Tapps at Nearterm today to place the leader who governs what you outsource.

If your organization has an open seat in Revenue Cycle, Radiology, or Healthcare Finance β€” start the conversation with Nearterm today. The search begins on the first call and the fee does not exist until the right person is placed.

The invoice does not exist until the right person accepts, starts, and is performing. Not when a candidate applies. Not when they interview. When the right person is in the seat and the work is being done β€” that is when Nearterm's fee is issued.

The search starts on day one. No retainer. No upfront cost. Nearterm sources from an active healthcare-specific network β€” not a job board β€” and delivers a curated slate within 7 to 14 days. Every candidate has already been evaluated on operational fit before a client sees their name.

From there, Nearterm manages candidate preparation, interview scheduling, and communication through offer and acceptance. If no placement is made, no invoice is issued. The financial risk sits entirely with Nearterm β€” and that alignment is exactly why every submission is made with precision, not volume.

Revenue Cycle Β· Radiology Β· Healthcare Finance Β· Interim and Executive Leadership. Contact Nearterm now to start your search with no upfront cost and no obligation until placement.

If your imaging department is managing coverage gaps heading into Q3 β€” this is the market you are operating in. Reach out to Khadiza Hannan at Nearterm before the shortage tightens further.

The U.S. is projected to face a shortage of 17,000 to 42,000 radiologists by 2033. Imaging demand grows at roughly 5% annually. The radiologist pipeline grows at approximately 2%. Training takes 13 or more years. That gap does not close on its own.

Radiologist attrition rates more than doubled between 2014 and 2022 β€” from 1.1% to 2.5% annually β€” and have not recovered. Neiman HPI projects the imaging workforce shortage remains fairly static through at least 2055. This is structural, not cyclical. Neuroradiology, breast imaging, and interventional radiology are reporting the most acute subspecialty shortages. Many health systems are already dependent on teleradiology and premium labor costs just to maintain basic coverage.

The organizations building recruiter relationships now are the ones with coverage when the shortage deepens. If your imaging department has a CT, MRI, X-Ray, or PET gap β€” contact Khadiza Hannan at Nearterm today.

Graduating from a radiologic technology program means you have cleared the clinical foundation. What happens in the first 12 months after graduation determines how quickly your career builds real market value β€” and most new graduates don't get specific guidance on what that actually looks like.

Get your ARRT primary certification current and start identifying your post-primary pathway immediately. CT is currently running the highest vacancy rate of any imaging modality β€” 19.4% as of 2025. MRI is close behind. Both carry significantly stronger compensation and placement demand than general radiography alone, and the post-primary credential is the gate. Prioritize acute care hospital experience over outpatient settings in your first role. Travel contracts, PRN assignments, and future hospital-level placements all carry minimum acute care requirements β€” and building that experience early keeps every career door open. Document your scanner platform experience from day one. GE, Siemens, Philips β€” the specific system you operate on matters to facilities evaluating fit, and a recruiter placing you for a travel or direct hire role will ask. Get your state licensure sorted for more than one state if travel assignments are on your radar. Multi-state licensure takes time to process and is the most common administrative bottleneck that delays a travel contract start date. Build a relationship with a recruiter who specializes in radiology β€” not a general healthcare staffing firm. The placements that match modality, scanner, shift, and facility type correctly come from recruiters who already know the difference.

Khadiza works with radiology professionals at every stage β€” new graduates building their first acute care foundation and experienced techs ready for their next travel assignment or direct hire placement.

Reach out to Khadiza directly.
