Role Description
This is a contract on-site role for a Safety Specialist located in Dulles, Virginia. The Safety Specialist will be responsible for conducting daily health and safety inspections, developing and delivering safety training programs, investigating accidents, and ensuring compliance with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) regulations. The role involves close collaboration with management to foster a safe and healthy work environment.

Qualifications
Health & Safety, Environment Health and Safety (EHS), and Occupational Health skills
Experience in Safety Training and developing safety protocols
Accident Investigation skills
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and conduct on-site assessments
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Safety Management, or a related field is preferred
Relevant certifications in health and safety is a plus

OSHA 510 or 500
NFPA 70E
3-7 years experience

This project-based opportunity has full-time potential. The current project will be from 1-3 years, The schedule will vary, however, the expectation for the position is a minimum of 40 hours weekly to 70 hours weekly. This is a 1099 contract; depending on experience, and ranges from $60-65K salary. You must reside in the area and able to commute successfully for day-to-day operation. Job Summary

The Energy Equipment Senior Tax Manager will report to the Energy Equipment Tax Director and will be expected to perform the following primary duties and responsibilities: develop and manage workplans for strategic tax projects for the EE segment, advise on tax implications of cross border contracts to optimize worldwide tax efficiency and mitigate tax exposures, carry out quarterly FIN48, FAS5 exposure analysis, and provide practical day to day operational tax guidance.

Design/Applications Engineer:

APPLICATIONS ENGINEER

Summary: Primary role of the Applications Engineer is design equipment to meet customer’s needs and specifications. The position reviews the customer specifications & related documentation & compare it to company standards, using this comparison to provide an effective solution for the customer. You will also assist the estimating & purchasing group in preparing detailed equipment costs. This position will assist the Business Development & Sales departments with customer visits to discuss topics including company product offerings & solutions to customer concerns. You may also perform site visits to evaluate customer needs or to assist in company product installation.

Essential Responsibilities:

*Applies knowledge of design, fabrication, assembly, tooling & material in pressure vessel & structural steel fabrication.
*Select required equipment/products that are best suited for the customer’s needs & application.
*Responsible for all technical aspects of product design & performs drawing review and approval.
*Review customer specifications to ensure all aspects can be met or provide alternate options as warranted.
*Conduct ASME code calculations using Compress for pressure vessels to verify whether the design layout meets ASME Section VIII, Div. I requirements.
*Review and approve application, design, drawings & calculations for company structural equipment including noise abatement, mist elimination, gas deodorization & emission control.
*Review Customer specifications on structural equipment offerings to verify regulatory requirements are met.
*Use engineering knowledge to modify product designs to improve performance & meet specific projects constraints.
*Assist in new product design and R&D efforts by using engineering knowledge & skills.
*Communicate with customers through the Project Manager to ensure proper product selection & design.
*Provide technical support to Sales team and Customers.

Skills and Qualifications:

*BS in Engineering from an accredited University is required.
*Extensive knowledge of manufacturing requirements & fabrication planning.

Mechanical Designer-Pressure Vessel/Structural Steel/Piping

The primary role of a Designer is to create fabrication drawings for pressure vessels, structural steel, piping and P&ID’s using Inventor and AutoCAD software. Serve as a mentor for drafters and be responsible for the checking and accuracy of drawings produced for approval to the customer and fabrication shop. You will report directly to the Design Manager.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Create 3D models and extract 2D fully dimensioned drawings with weld symbols and all other information to support fabrication
• Compliant to ASME Y 14.7
• Support the Project from receipt of order, fabrication, and shipment.
• Capable of overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
• Participate in design review in-house and with customer
• Continuously seek ways to improve the design process and communications
• Meeting Project timelines

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have a high school diploma and extended education in drafting design and 3D software a plus
• Must have proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, Inventor, Autodesk illogic and Vault,
• Skilled at developing complete sets of complex designs which include structural designs, mechanical designs, ASME coded vessels, and piping designs
• Must have the ability to review and understand customer specifications
• Must have experience with ASME Section VIII DIV.1, AISC, SID, and OSHA
• Must have proven experience supporting fabrication shop with accurate details and bill of materials for constructability
• Ability to create conceptual designs through final design
• Have a strong understanding of welding symbols and application
• Ability to understand and use Compress calculations to create an ASME code vessel detail drawing
• Read and write English, communicating effectively with team members

Physical Requirements and other items to communicate:

The ability to lift 50 pounds. Work in a high pace manufacturing environment. Have the ability to multitask by sharing workspace with interruptions from others.
