Express Services, Inc., the International Headquarters of Express Employment Professionals, has over 600 locally owned locations in the U.S., Canada, South Africa, and Australia. Since our founding in 1983 in Oklahoma City, OK, we have grown to rank as the largest privately-owned staffing company in the world, with income over two billion. In addition, Express Employment Professionals puts over 375,000 people to work each year and averages over two million hours worked by our associates each week.
Express Employment Professionals is part of the 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work for in West Michigan and was an Elite Winner in 2013. We take the time to find people the right positions, we then link them with the right companies. We take a customized approach to recruiting and specialize in many skill trade positions. We provide expertise in evaluation hire, temporary staffing, professional search, direct hire, and human resources. Because we have the largest privately held staffing company, as a partner, we can afford to fund big jobs and we have the resources of a large staffing company. However, since we are independently owned, we have the flexibility and "skin in the game" that comes with a small, local staffing company. As an ISO certified company, our employees all go through a 10 step ISO certified interview process (1 1/2 hours per candidate), drug testing, evaluation skills testing, background checks (national and state), calls to verify past employment and a minimum of two verbal reference checks. All taxes, unemployment, workman's compensation, medical insurance, referral bonuses vacation, and sick days are included as well. In addition to skills evaluation testing, we can do any of the following to the specific clients needs. Our hands-on and computerized tests include: manual dexterity, workplace safety, general maintenance, industrial math, electronics, industrial/manufacturing skills, and administration/office skills.
There are six employees and two interns that support the Holland and Muskegon offices in addition to the resources and expertise of over 300 employees at the international headquarters. The Holland office services Ottawa and Allegan counties. The Muskegon office services Northern Ottawa, Muskegon, Oceana and Mason counties.
