Some gifts become more meaningful with time. This star is one of them. ⭐

About two years ago I met a wonderful artist named Laura.

She painted this beautiful star and told me,
“This star is meant for you.”

Later she sent me this message that I will always treasure:
“So glad I got to know such a good person named Star 🌟. Perfect home for both of my star paintings 💫.”

Laura had a special gift. Her art carried warmth, creativity, and kindness — just like she did. I feel so thankful our paths crossed and that I get to keep this piece of her light in my home.

We are still buzzing from the incredible energy of this past weekend! Hillsboro Holly Days Celebration 2025 was truly a dream come true, and it’s all thanks to YOU!

📚 HUGE news for our downtown community! A wonderful new pop-up has arrived just in time for the holidays! 🎄

Linda Letra Bilingual Books, an independent bookstore specializing in high-quality Spanish and bilingual children’s literature, has opened a pop-up location right here in Downtown Hillsboro!

You can find them inside The FLIP Museum from Black Friday (November 28th) through New Year's Eve (December 31st).

Stop by to discover beautiful books for your little hispanohablantes and check out their specially curated STEAM-focused educational toys! This is a fantastic opportunity to shop local, support multilingual literacy, and find unique gifts.

The partners are hoping this holiday run leads to a permanent location, helping to celebrate and nurture the superpower of bilingualism in our city. Let's show them some love!
