🚧 WATER SERVICE INTERRUPTION – NORTHWOODS RD & CARRIAGE COURT 💧

The City of Hillsboro is notifying residents that water service on Northwoods Road and Carriage Court will be shut off beginning Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 7:30 a.m. while crews install a new water valve.

We anticipate having water service restored by approximately noon, weather and work conditions permitting.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while this necessary work is being completed.

NAMING RIGHTS COMMITTEE MEETING
The City of Hillsboro Naming Rights Committee will meet on September 3, 2026 at 2:30 p.m. at The City Building, 130 N. High St., Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
The purpose of the meeting is to review and consider a Naming Rights Application submitted pursuant to City of Hillsboro Resolution No. 26-11 and to take any action deemed appropriate by the Committee.

Public Works Laborer Job Opening

The City of Hillsboro will be accepting applications for the position of Public Works Laborer until 4 pm on September 14, 2026. Starting pay for this position is $21.00 per hour. Applications and job descriptions can be obtained in the Mayors office at 130 N. High St., Hillsboro, Ohio 45133 and at Ohio Means Jobs at 1575 N. 📣City Hall Technology Upgrade – August 19

Please be advised that beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, City Hall offices will temporarily be without access to computers and telephone services due to a scheduled technology upgrade.
