RN Responsibilities
Provide care in the school health office
Assess and treat student illnesses and injuries
Administer medications Manage chronic medical conditions
Maintain health documentation
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff
Provide one-to-one nursing care for medically fragile students
LPN Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one nursing care for medically fragile students
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Monitor students throughout the school day
Support students during transportation when required
Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
Active New York State RN or LPN License
Current CPR/BLS Certification
Physical completed within the last 12 months
Current PPD documentation
MMR documentation
Ability to complete NYC Department of Education fingerprinting (required)
