The Guest Services and Security personnel will fill multiple posts that may vary from event to event and are responsible for providing a safe environment and professional image for our guests. These posts include security, ushers, ticket takers, supervisor and guest services positions.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Specific duties may include, but are not limited to: greeting guests (the ability to greet all visitors, vendors, and employees while continuously maintaining the standards of excellence in presentation and professionalism), collecting lost and found items, assisting with lost children/parents, resolving guest complaints, scanning tickets, ushering guests to their seats and providing assistance whenever necessary.
Understanding and enforcing all policies and procedures.
Acting diligent and vigilant of safety issues and understanding reporting procedures.
Acting as a member of the emergency evacuation team by communicating with and directing guests during a facility emergency.
Completing on-the-job required training.
Exhibiting flexibility before, during and after the event as requests of the facility and/or client may change from event to event.
Ensuring a solid understating of location/post orders, revisions, and daily event needs.
Knowing your chain of command.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The following are the minimum qualifications required to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.
A positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding guest services
Minimum 18 years of age.
High School diploma (or GED) preferred
Ability to work independently and remain flexible.
Must be able to understand and communicate in conversational English and follow verbal and written directions.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including long nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays.
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation
Adhere to uniform standards at all times.
Reliable transportation.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Previous experience in a guest or customer service role.
CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
Bi-lingual skills are an asset
Security D License a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the essential functions of the position, employees will frequently stand and walk for long periods of time and climb stairs, twist and bend, use hands to handle objects, tools or controls, reach and lift up to 25 lbs.
Employee will also use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Employees may also be stationed at different elevations/heights to perform functions of post. Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow differently-abled individuals to perform the essential functions of the job.
The essential functions of this position are performed both indoors and outdoors in the weather conditions prevalent at that time.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
HOURS:
Part-time/on-call position
Hours will vary and are based on event scheduling; there is no guarantee of minimum hours per week.
Schedules will include nights and weekends and may occasionally include early mornings and holidays as needed.
Every effort will be made to accommodate scheduling requests; however black-out dates will require attendance from all employees.
COMPENSATION:
Part-time hourly, non-exempt, based on events scheduled
