Hello, again! It’s not time (yet) to pre-order your 2026 Christmas tree. 🌲

But it is time to think about your spring landscape! 🌸

Scout Troop 157 is again joining forces with Troop 1577 to sell native plants this spring as a summer camp fundraiser! 🏕️

Place your online order by March 30 and we’ll deliver to homes in Herndon and Reston April 11-12. www.troop1577.org/plants

Native plants are adapted to our local environment, and generally require less maintenance. They are also essential habitats and food sources for birds, butterflies, and pollinators. 🦋

BSA Troop 157 still has Fraser Firs to move off the lot and would love to treat the birds who visit your home!

Stop by Holy Cross Lutheran Church on Sterling Road in Herndon. The tree stand is open this weekend, Saturday 9-6 and Sunday 1-6.

In past years, we would normally be sold out this close to Christmas. We still have over 100 trees on the lot. Learn more about this year's challenges and how you can help us avoid losing money on our annual fundraiser.

Our once-reliable annual fundraiser hasn't worked out very well this year, most likely from stretched household budgets and especially cold weather in our community.

We are selling our remaining trees, over 100 beautiful fraser firs, at a steep discount. At this point, our scouts won't raise any funds for their activities, but we are desperately trying to break even and not lose money.

Please consider stopping by the stand at Holy Cross Lutheran Church on Sterling Road this weekend. We're open Thursday 6-8, Friday 6-8, Saturday 9-6, and Sunday 1-6.

Need a tree outside of stand hours? Call us at 571.306.3033 and we'll meet you there! You can also purchase a tree with cash by stopping by the church office M-F from 8:30-4.

We give up. We still have 150 or so beautiful trees. But it's time for Clearance pricing (and when I say clearance, I mean below cost). We're apparently not going to make any money this year. If we're not at the stand when you need a tree, call us at the number listed in the graphic, and we'll accommodate you if we're able.
