HELP WANTED: Skilled Mason – Full-Time
Department: Construction
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Mason to join a construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry work and a passion for quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
• Construct and repair walls, foundations, walkways, and structural features using brick, block, concrete, stone, and other materials
• Interpret blueprints and project plans accurately
• Cut, shape, and lay materials using hand and power tools
• Mix and apply mortar and grout with precision
• Ensure structural alignment, level, and finish are to spec
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Work collaboratively with the crew to meet daily goals
• Perform quality checks on finished work
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience as a Mason
• Skilled in using masonry tools and equipment
• Knowledge of construction safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions
