Time to decorate the wagon, so I finally remembered to take a before/after picture. Then we took it to LaCrosse for their...It's Fall Y'all Festival, and gave rides. That was fun! Games, snacks, beverage, rides, petting zoo (with snakes 🐍 even), fellowship...just good Ole fashioned small town fun. Enjoy all the beautiful colors of fall. What a canvas the has painted 🎨....cheers

Beautiful fall morning!! Doing chores, cleaning and refilling water tanks. This is Elijah, he's had his grain, his water drink, and now needs a scratch!! These guys are rough on panels. Just a breeze out today, lots of sunshine, get out and enjoy it...winters coming. Peace and blessings all day. Cheers

What a very beautiful day for Oktoberfest in Hays, KS. We carried the Volga German Society Scholarship recipients, 7 this year, how awesome! Also, had some German dancers who also shared candy and carried banners letting people know..."follow us to Oktoberfest". We are the last entry in the parade and today there were lots of people headed to the park for all the festivities. Thank you to all who road in the wagon, helped harness and hitch, and to those who stopped by to visited us and pet the horses. Have a safe and blessed evening at the game...Go FHSU Tigers!! Cheers

Wow!! Love this 60°F morning with a slight ESE breeze...now if we could just add some rain in the mix that would be AWESOME! Breakfast is served to the 2 yr and under crowd. The big boys are full and bored standing at the fence. Mares are way over West grazing; Meadowlark are singing to them all. Have a blessed day and enjoy wearing a vest or light jacket. Cheers

Same bunch of weanlings. It's windy today, Michael is fly spraying, they aren't too keen on getting sprayed. Wyatt, is the half blood, Elijah has the big white side and Viola is the dark one in the middle. With the temperature going back n forth, they don't know whether to shed hair or grow hair. Beautiful morning and iiittt'ss Ffrriiiiddaayy! We got 65/100 rain last night/early morning. Mares are out in the meadow grazing on the wet sweet grass. They're working on filling in their top line. 😁

Our farrier came out to get an early start on trimming and shoeing. He did the young ones first. Victor-E needed trimmed too and that's the one getting his rear foot picked up. Then he got started on Gunnar, who is getting shoes. My part is to wrap the feathers out of the way. Nothing fancy but it makes trimming and shoeing a little easier. I'll do the same on John when it's his turn. Have a peaceful day. Cheers
