We are 76 days away from The start of TAX SEASON…Yayyy🎊

Remember the LAW says in order to claim a dependent you must consider these factors 👇🏾

✅Residency - The child has to have lived with you for at least half of the year and you must provided all or most of the support.

✅Relationship- The child has to be related to you as a son, daughter, stepchild, foster child, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, or a descendant of any of those.

✅Age- The child must be 18 or younger at the end of the year, or under 24 if a student. To be a student, the child must have attended school full-time during at least five months of the year. The five months don’t have to be in a row.
The child must be younger than you (or your spouse, if married filing jointly), unless the child is disabled.

Whatever arrangements you have made please just don’t let this be you 🤦🏾‍♀️😂

💰 2026 TAX UPDATE! 💰

The Earned Income Tax Credit has increased for Tax Year 2026! ✅

Here are the NEW maximum EITC amounts:

👑No qualifying children: $664
👑1 qualifying child: $4,427
👑2 qualifying children: $7,316
👑3 or more qualifying children: $8,231

👀 That means some taxpayers could see a bigger credit when filing next year! 👏🏽👏🏽

📝Don’t forget, just because you see the max amount it doesn’t mean that’s what you will receive it depends on your income, filing status, and the number of dependents you claim.
