NAC saw two of its longest-serving employees retire today. We wish them long and enjoyable years of retirement and cannot thank them enough for their decades of service to our company.
Bill Hathaway was the 9th employee hired by George, joining NAC on 11/5/1979. For those counting, that is an astounding 46.8 years with the company. It is said that one becomes an expert after 10,000 hours of doing something, well that means Bill is an expert 10x over. He made his home in Die Cast all of those years ago and was still keeping these machines running as a Maintenance Tech until noon today. Thank you for all of the years, Bill.
Kelly McKillip joined the team all the way back on 1/2/1998. At the time of her retirement at 4:30 this evening, she was the company’s 6th longest tenured employee. Kelly started her career as a Trimmer in our Die Casting Department, but through years of hard work she ended her career as the Finishing Department Manager. She has 28.6 years of service to NAC under her belt, and we could not be more grateful for all those hours she spent with us. We estimate her time with NAC at more than 60,000 hours on the clock as well.
NAC is eternally grateful to these two for their combined 75 years of experience and expertise. We know we will miss both of them dearly but wish them well in their future endeavors.
