Central Communications has issued an alert for all emergency personnel to check their radios. There seems to be some illegal usage that is being broadcast over the Ritchie County Fire/EMS frequency. Not only is this a violation of FCC rules, it could potentially interrupt critical communications during an emergency.

Please check your radios and make sure that they are secure.
