Today, we recognize Juneteenth, a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the enduring pursuit of equality.

Observed on June 19, Juneteenth marks the day the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

As we reflect on this important moment in history, we honor the strength, perseverance, and contributions of Black Americans whose impact continues to shape our communities, our workplaces, and our nation.

May today be a time for reflection, learning, and appreciation for the progress that has been made and the work that continues ahead.
