In February 2020, the Governor’s office and the leadership of Florida Department of Corrections (DOC) set forth the vision to create Florida Foundation for Correctional Excellence (FFCE). FFCE was established as a nonprofit DSO (direct support organization) to serve DOC by bringing together public and private partners to increase investment in transition programs and workforce training to further expand re-entry efforts.
Leaders who represent important sectors for this initiative (e.g., trucking, restaurant/hospitality, corrections, public service, workforce, etc.), along with folks from the faith sector, and fair chance employers were appointed to the board of directors to lead efforts that amplify correctional excellence across the state..
Florida Foundation for Correctional Excellence took on this mission to help so many good people who worked hard to transition their lives to be a great citizen in our fair country. It's proven to be working. We are so honored that they came to chamber as a BOA (Board of Advisor) so we could make sure that our communities know that they are a Member of Good Standing.
We strongly ask if your companies stay with them on this journey.
