Last week, Chris Sias, SHRM-CP and Morgan Meyer from our MBR team traded HR for fleece and spent the afternoon giving back at Bourbon, Brews & Blankets with Small Biz Cares!

We joined other Central Ohio businesses and community members to create no-sew fleece blankets for My Very Own Blanket, an organization that provides handmade blankets to children in foster care—offering comfort, security and a reminder that their community cares.

We love opportunities that bring together three things that matter to us: our team, our business community and making a meaningful difference for others.

Thank you to Small Biz Cares, My Very Own Blanket, the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce for bringing everyone together for such a great cause.

🎉 MBR is turning 7—and we’re ready to celebrate!

Seven years of supporting businesses. Seven years of building relationships. Seven years of learning, growing, and working alongside some pretty incredible people.

A couple of weeks ago, the MBR team traded policies, recruiting, employee relations, and client meetings for an escape room at Breakout Games!

It was a great opportunity to get out of the office, have some fun together, and put our teamwork to the test in a completely different way.

There was plenty of problem-solving, communication, searching for clues, a little overthinking and a lot of laughs along the way.

We spend our days helping our clients build stronger workplaces and teams, so we know how important it is to make time to strengthen our own, too.

And yes… we escaped! 🎉🔓
