We are now hiring a Maintenance Technician!

Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician will monitor, repair and maintain the plant’s production equipment as well as perform maintenance on the facility and its utilities. This includes performing preventative, corrective, and diagnostic maintenance tasks on assigned equipment, setting up and testing equipment for startup and inspecting, lubricating and making necessary repairs to equipment. Successful candidates will be required to use their troubleshooting skills and experience to resolve technical, mechanical, electrical, and programming problems that may occur.

Essential Functions:
· Safely perform all tasks. This is not only an essential function but a condition of employment
· Adhere to all company policies, GMPs, and SOPs
· The ability to work with a team, understand and apply basic mechanical concepts and accept training and constructive criticism are imperative. The following functions are expected to be achievable with reasonable training and guidance
· Troubleshoot and maintain processing equipment both mechanical and electrical
· Inspect, recognize potential problems and take appropriate action to prevent component failure
· Monitor machinery to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, and identify opportunities for improvement
· Assist team leaders and machine operators in efficient line start up and equipment adjustments
· Perform building maintenance and repairs as needed
· Maintain documentation related to maintenance tasks
· Weld and fabricate machinery when necessary
· Maintenance, repair, service or installation may include but not limited to: VF Drives, Pumps/motors, Conveyor systems, AC / DC controls, Pneumatic, Frequency control drives, Hydraulic and electrical equipment, Refrigeration / Freezer systems and controls, electronic controls, Boiler controls
· Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to schedule and develop routine and preventative maintenance schedules.
· Work closely with new hires, train, evaluate and document their progress to ensure they are capable of performing maintenance functions prior to allowing them to work on equipment unsupervised
· Manage the routine and preventative maintenance of the plant equipment.
· Maintain the schedule and adjust accordingly to maintain a positive work/life balance in conjunction with the flexibility requirements of customer demands.
· POC for team members requiring assistance with non-standard work, emergency repairs and vendor contact
· Set the pace for the team with regards to work ethics, safety, GMPs and attitude
· Assist team members when faced with challenges they are unable to overcome

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· High School Diploma or GED required. Some college coursework preferred
· 2+ years of maintenance mechanic experience
· Experience in a production/manufacturing environment preferred
· MIG / TIG welding and fabrication of stainless preferred
· Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) License preferred but not required
· Forklift experience preferred
· Knowledge of mechanical systems and components including chains, sprockets, gears, bushings, bearings, gear boxes and other moving parts
· Bilingual is a plus (English/Spanish)
· Problem solving and diagnosis skills
· Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with coworkers, supervisors and department managers required
· Basic math skills
· Self-starter, ability to work alone
· Good organizational skills and detail-oriented
· Availability and willingness to work flexible job hours as needed

Working Conditions/Physical Factors:
· Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions
· Worker may be exposed to a loud working environment
· Worker may be exposed to hazards in the workplace such as proximity to equipment conducting extreme heat, moving parts and electrical current
· Must be able to work in an environment containing allergens (nuts, milk, wheat, etc.)
· Must be able to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time
· Occasionally required to use hands and fingers
· Frequently required to talk or hear
· Frequently required to taste and smell
· Frequently required to lift / push / pull / carry weight up to 50 lbs.
· Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision
· Exposure to moving mechanical parts
· Exposure to fumes or airborne particles

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 1pm-10pm

Payrate: $27.00-$32.00 DOE

We are now looking for Production Operators to join our team in Clackamas, OR!

Job Summary:

Folks will perform packaging by operation of mechanical equipment used in conveying, sealing, inspection, and packing of products and light machine operation functions.

· Learn the operator roles, responsibilities, and SOPs specific to the assigned area and equipment.
· Complete all required batch records and forms in an accurate and timely manner.
· Operate assigned equipment in a safe, productive, and timely manner.
· Perform machine changeover and cleaning as specified by the production schedule in accordance with appropriate SOP`s.
· Weigh, count, document and verify materials used in the assigned production area.
· Ensure products in assigned areas are produced according to the batch record and specifications.
· Clean assigned equipment and rooms according to SOPs in a timely manner.
· Pass packaging zone related assessments in designated time frames
· Moves and/or stacks bins/metal plates/buckets of materials and may load tubs of materials to work centers as applicable.
· Checks and corrects any conditions which are not conducive to a safe, clean workplace. Report any safety problems immediately.
· Will be asked to train someone and/or participate in a task force to improve company procedures or operations.
· Ability to effectively problem-solve.
· Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
· Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
· 6 months minimum experience in manufacturing, food manufacturing a plus
· Experience with FDA/GMP compliance recommended
· Ability to read and write and communicate in English, use basic math, and basic computer skills

Shifts & Payrate:

DAY SHIFT: 6am - 6:30pm
Sunday -Wednesday/Thursday $19.00

DAY WEEKEND SHIFT: 6am - 6:30pm
Wednesday/Thursday -Saturday $19.00 + $2 shift differential

SWING SHIFT: 6pm-6:30am
