Entry level leadership position details:
We look for someone experience with training other employees
Pay rate: $16.40/hr with a $2 premium between 11pm and 6am
(1.5x pay on Saturdays, 2x pay on Sundays)
Not at 1 specific location – will be going to different sites in our service area - (Main service area: Greenville, Greer, Duncan, Spartanburg. Can also include Gaffney, Laurens, Anderson and Lavonia, GA)
Need to be available for 12-hour shifts, but shift times very between different sites (usually, 8, 10 or 12 hours – 12 is most common)
Overtime – guaranteed 40 hours a week, but OT usually required. Amount of OT varies, most people work 50-60 hours a week currently
Weekend work – about every other weekend, can vary
Uniform: Steel toes, blue/black work pants, navy polo shirt
Own reliable vehicle required
Both day and night shift available
Key Duties
Reporting to the Project Leader
Daily Shift Start-up procedures:
PPE, Site Entry, Safety Req’s, Site Orientation
Inspector Training & Validation
Time & Attendance
Inspection Validation – Maintain Effectiveness
Data Reporting
Inspect
Review Rejects
Perform Timestudies – Maintain Efficiencies
Shift Update Communications (log/email/verbal)
Performance Expectations
• Train and validate inspectors to ensure perfect defect detection
• Inspect parts and role model inspector performance standards
• Positively motivate inspectors
• Train Inspectors on administrative job duties to build self-sufficiency
• Foster strong professional relationships with inspectors, fellow Shift Leaders, and host support
staff
• Foster a safe and inclusive work environment
• Actively and willingly offer assistance to inspectors, Shift Leaders and Project Leaders
• Seek feedback from inspectors on inspection methods
• Provide site orientation to inspectors (PPE, safety, evacuations, etc.)
• Maintain composure under pressure and always remain professional
• Be a positive example for Inspectors and fellow Shift Leaders
• Support additional tasks as requested by the Customer or Project Leader
• Identify Inspectors with potential for future growth opportunities
