We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to support quality control activities within our grinding and finishing operations.
This position is responsible for inspecting castings, identifying defects, documenting quality issues, and ensuring parts meet customer specifications before shipment.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to follow standard work instructions, and experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect castings for defects such as cracks, porosity, overgrind, and dimensional issues
Verify parts meet customer specifications and quality standards
Follow Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and inspection procedures
Document inspection results using company quality systems and reports
Identify non-conforming material and properly place parts into MRB / hold areas
Communicate quality issues with production, supervisors, and management
Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions when defects occur
Support continuous improvement efforts to improve quality and reduce defects
Maintain a clean and organized inspection area
Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or GED
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow written instructions and inspection procedures

Familiarity with quality tools or defect identification
Experience with MRB processes or non-conforming material control
Preferred:

Job Overview:
The Logistics and Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and shipment of materials and products. This role ensures accurate inventory tracking, timely order fulfillment, and smooth flow of goods through the facility. It plays a key part in supporting production, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement efforts.
1. Shipping Coordination:
Prepare outgoing shipments according to customer orders.
Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, and necessary shipping documents.
Schedule and coordinate pickups.
Ensure products are packaged securely to prevent damage.

2. Receiving Coordination:
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
Verify deliveries against purchase orders and record receipts in MRPeasy/QAD.
Label incoming materials and route them to appropriate storage or production areas.
Communicate with Purchasing or Vendors on any discrepancies or damaged goods.

3. Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records through MRPeasy.
Perform regular cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory.
Organize stock areas to optimize space and accessibility.
Investigate inventory variances and recommend corrective actions.

4. Continuous Improvement:
Identify and suggest process improvements for shipping, receiving, and inventory workflows.
Support the implementation of new inventory management techniques (like barcoding, labeling systems, etc.).
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

Skills and Qualifications:
Prior experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, or inventory control.
Experience with ERP systems; MRPeasy experience is a plus.
