• Assisting with sterile surgical procedures including prepping,
scrubbing, circulating, surgical suite set-up,
• Developing anesthesia plan with doctor, administration of
anesthesia medications, anesthesia monitoring and patient
recovery
• Assisting with taking radiographs including proper placement
and knowledge of patient positioning
• Performing diagnostic testing and lab work
• Starting appointments for doctors including taking history from
clients, gathering vitals and presenting patient information to
doctor

Requirements and Qualifications
• Associates degree from an accredited veterinary program
• Successful completion of the Veterinary Tech National Exam
• Registered in North Carolina
• At least 1-year surgery and/or anesthesia related experience

• Must be able to multitask and thrive in a team environment
• Prior knowledge of Idexx laboratory machines and Cornerstone
Veterinary Software encouraged
• Basic Microsoft programs knowledge
