Here we go....

Due to the threat of inclement weather, GCS schools will dismiss two hours early for students on Thursday, Feb. 20, with an option to close. All afterschool activities, athletics and ACES programs also are canceled for Thursday. Twilight and the middle colleges at GTCC Greensboro, High Point and Jamestown will not be open Thursday. Central offices will remain on a regular schedule.

CALENDAR UPDATE: Monday, Feb. 17 is the make-up day for most GCS students for the instructional day that was missed due to inclement weather on Friday, Feb. 7. The day was previously identified as a mandated teacher workday.

Students who attend three of the four 20-day extended-year schools do not have to make-up the missed days.

Due to the threat of inclement weather, GCS will open all schools, including early and middle colleges, on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 13. Central offices and Twilight high school programs will maintain their usual schedule.
