Workforce services remain available to Guilford County residents and employers as the regional transition takes effect October 1.

Current participants will maintain access to services throughout the transition, and new customers can schedule appointments beginning October 1.

Additional information about accessing services will be shared through official channels as details are finalized.

Both GuilfordWorks NCWorks Career Center locations will temporarily close to walk-in traffic on Friday, September 18, and Tuesday, September 29.

The closures will also affect NCWorks NextGen and the GuilfordWorks Administrative Office. The temporary closures will allow staff to participate in professional development training.

Regular operations and walk-in services will resume following each closure. GuilfordWorks appreciates the community’s patience as staff work to enhance services for local job seekers and employers.

Holiday hours update: NCWorks Career Centers in Guilford County will close early at 2 pm Thursday, July 2.

Centers will also be closed Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day.

Regular business hours will resume Monday, July 6.

The temperature was high, but so was the energy.

GuilfordWorks closed out the program year at Keeley Park with team highlights, staff recognitions, and time to reflect on the people who make this work possible. Several employees were recognized for their contributions, commitment, and service to our community.

Thank you to the GuilfordWorks team for continuing to connect people, opportunity, and purpose across Guilford County.

GuilfordWorks connected with 400 students during a recent career and resource event at Truist Point Stadium.

Over two days, staff spoke with 220 seventh graders and 180 10th graders about NextGen, GuilfordWorks, and NCWorks services. Students had the chance to visit vendor stations, ask questions, and learn more about resources that can support their future career paths.

Thank you to HPAC Delta Theta Sorority, Guilford County Schools, and Truist Point Stadium staff for helping create a meaningful experience for students.
