โ ๏ธATTENTIONโ ๏ธ Let me introduce AB Roman, who recently came back to his hometown after finishing the tech school!
1. What is your AFSC, and what do you do daily?
My AFSC is 2W031, Mu*****ns Systems. Each day, I work with the mu*****ns used by fighter aircraft, bomber aircraft, and other platforms. My responsibilities include building, maintaining, storing, and preparing mu*****ns to ensure they are handled safely and delivered where they are needed.
2. How did you feel the first time you went into the recruiting office?
I felt nervous because I was still deciding whether the Air Force was the right path for me. Looking back now, I am very glad I took that first step and went into the recruiting office.
3. Tell me about your technical school. What is one thing you will remember forever?
My technical school experience was enjoyable and memorable. I learned a lot about my career field and built strong friendships with people from different backgrounds. One thing I will always remember is the connections I made with my classmates.
4. What was the most interesting thing about Basic Military Training (BMT)?
The most interesting part of BMT was realizing that Military Training Instructors are people with personalities and a sense of humor. My MTI knew how to keep training professional while also making us laugh at the right moments, which made the experience more memorable.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done before going to BMT? What advice would you give to people waiting for training?
I wish I had spent more time preparing physically, especially by running. My advice is to begin training early by practicing running, push-ups, and sit-ups. Being physically prepared can help make the BMT experience smoother and more enjoyable.
